Virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) are nothing new for passionate gamers, but, in other industries, they could cause a revolution. The potential of VR/AR's power to create an exceptional user experience is still undiscovered, which is why E.K. Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (EKbana) took on the challenge to demonstrate how this kind of Virtual Experience affects Businesses.

Problems / Goals

  • People are interested in visiting exhibitions and events but are unable to due to busy schedules or external factors such as pandemics.
  • Businesses are unable to showcase their products or services physically in these situations.
  • The goal is to create a virtual environment where businesses can rent space for exhibitions, concerts, and movie halls.

Our Process

Our process includes following each and every step, from ideation to prototyping to usability studies in a thorough way. We used many iterations to come up with the desired output. Our brains and thoughts are open to every outcome possible.

Brainstorming and ideation :

By brainstorming, We came up with some ideas that can be implemented in the app, such as the Multiplayer option where users can join a server and chat with existing users. It would be like any other Social platform but with an immersive experience. I was pretty confused about the exploring part like how you will explore the virtual spaces so I took some inspiration from Decentraland and other games like Pub-g.  And another main feature is users can buy the showcased products within the virtual interface.

We used a Five Ws and How  Q/A Process (From Solving Product Design Exercises - Book) to gather the requirements for MVP.

Prototyping :

After the requirements were ready we started to Sketch and prototype ideas. from pen and paper to grey boxing inside the unity game engine.
